Common gimbal & sub-milliradian tracking platform
Commercially deployed in 30+ countries
CENTAURI transmits eye-safe, coherent laser beams through open air, replacing the cost, permits and trenching delays of buried fibre with a link that goes live the same day, at wire-speed and sub-millisecond latency.
Model TCT-C10G · Standard production
The globally deployed benchmark. Built for 4G and 5G mobile backhaul, campus interconnects and leased-line replacement.
Model TCT-C25G · Commercially available now
The only commercially available 25G wireless laser link. The lowest cost per bit for 5G microcells, fronthaul and high-frequency trading corridors.
Six pieces of optical physics that let a beam of light do the job of a buried cable, in heat, wind and monsoon rain.
1550 nm
A coherent infrared beam collimated through a transmit doublet, crossing open air with no glass core to slow it, focused onto a high-speed APD receiver.
193 THz
Microwave and 80 GHz E-band fade hard in rain and compete for crowded spectrum. At 193 THz, CENTAURI holds wire-speed throughput in the same downpour.
<0.1 mrad
Rooftops and towers sway in wind and swell with the sun. Closed-loop motorised gimbals steer the beam continuously to keep the link locked.
Multi-beam
Hot air refracts light. Spatial diversity across multiple beams, with aperture averaging, removes the packet loss that heat shimmer causes.
Zero RF
Milliradian divergence makes side-lobe sniffing impossible, and there is no radio signal for a jammer to touch.
80 λ
Dense wavelength-division multiplexing stacks up to 80 optical channels into one path, scaling a single link to multiple terabits.
Ten or more carriers and ISPs run live traffic on CENTAURI across 30+ countries, at five nines measured under monsoon conditions. 10G backhaul with CPRI and eCPRI fronthaul, on the SLA your customers already signed.
Heavy rain, fog and tropical heat are where microwave links drop out. CENTAURI reads the atmosphere continuously and adjusts its laser power in real time, holding the link through monsoon downpours.
Deploy laser links alongside the fibre and RF you already run. CENTAURI adds capacity where the duct is full, and stands by as a live second path that takes over in under 50 ms when a crew cuts the fibre.
When a typhoon, flood or earthquake takes out buried fibre, CENTAURI is carried in, mounted and switched on in hours. No trenches, no permits, no repair crews. Taiwan Mobile used it to restore service after a typhoon.
Rivers, expressways, rail corridors and open water stop fibre crews cold. A laser link simply crosses them. One island network brought wire-speed backhaul to 50,000+ residents in under 48 hours.
Propagation delay
Light in open air travels at the speed of light. Silica fibre slows it by its refractive index of 1.468. On a trading corridor, that gap decides who fills the order.
Free air runs at 3.33 µs/km. Silica fibre, slowed by a refractive index of 1.468, takes 4.90 µs/km.
Cost to connect
Trenching means civil works, right of way and municipal permits. A CENTAURI pair mounts on two rooftops and carries the same traffic, with no spectrum fee and nothing buried.
